minami itsuki / Ikki
Known as Ikki by his friends, he lives with a family of four sisters, the Noyamano.
He is in his second year of junior high. Initially the leader of the youth gang the East Side Gunz,
after the incident with Skull Saders, he gets very passionate with AT and even sets up his own AT team,
Kogarasumaru (小烏丸) with his friends. Ikki is often characterized as a bird. He is able to see the "Wing Road" and is prophesied by Simca to be the Sky King.
A crow, Kuu, lives on his head. Tentative successor to the title of Wind King.
Simca / Tsubame no Simca
She is nicknamed "Simca of the Swallow" (Tsubame no Shimuka).
She was the girl who Ikki would watch while she rode her AT through his neighborhood.
She had a crush on Ikki and loves being naked around him (much to Ringo's chagrin).
Nothing much is known about her except that she is collecting all eight Kings and the eight roads.
It is revealed much later in the series that she heads an AT team, Genesis.
Simca was a member of Tool Toul To when the original Sleeping Forest team was still around.
